On Wednesday February 22, 2023, fifteen members took a small drive to the Tulsa Air & Space Museum located on the grounds of the Tulsa International airport.
With a mission of “honoring the past, inspiring the future”, the Tulsa Air and Space Museum & Planetarium has carved out a unique niche in the Oklahoma museum community. TASM has been exposing students and visitors to the real-world applications of STEM since 1994.
Club members were educated in a stimulating environment that included inspirational stories of aerospace pioneers and events, unique and priceless aircraft, computer flight simulators, cockpit trainers, demonstrations, and simulated space voyage experiences by our skilled docent Larry Brugger.
After the tour, members headed to the White River Fish Market for a great seafood luncheon.
